Biography

Cheryl Grant is a Canadian artist who lives in Shannon, Quebec, Canada. She grew up in Ontario, and has lived in Quebec for the past 35 years.
Cheryl attended the University of Ontario College of Art and Design, later completing a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree in international relations.
During her career in the federal public service, Cheryl devoted her free time to her art. Since her retirement in 2018, she paints daily for sheer pleasure.
Cheryl believes that the creative process is fueled by observation, inspiration and imagination. Her works are imbued with the most astonishing realism. They are distinguished by a bold marriage of realism, colors and abstract shapes. The result is unique and luminous works from which great energy emerges.
She is a member of La Corporation d’artistes et d’artisans de la Jacques-Cartier (CAAJC).
